About the Client

We are looking for a personal assistant for a 50-year-old man living alone in Kalmar who has extensive support needs. The client has cerebral palsy, autism, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and a mild intellectual disability.

The work is performed where the client is, primarily at home. The client spends a lot of time in his workshop where he carpools and tinkers – therefore, it is advantageous if you have an interest in cars or enjoy practical work. The client swims once a week, which means you need to be able to swim.

About You

We would like you to have experience working as a personal assistant or in similar roles. You need to be fearless, patient, and have a strong desire to create security and continuity. It may take time for the client to get used to new people, so you should be stable, reliable, and able to take initiative.

As a person, you are social, cheerful, empathetic, and warm. You find it easy to connect and can adapt to the client's daily condition and needs. The client may initially be cautious, so it is an advantage if you are perceptive and flexible.

About the Employment

Position at 28%, as well as substitute as needed. The client has assistance around the clock with 9 hours of on-call duty per shift. You need to be able to work nights and preferably be available to step in at short notice.
