Preschools in Northern Land

We are now looking for you who, with commitment and a sense of responsibility, want to work as a substitute in our preschools in the northern part of Västervik municipality.

Your Responsibilities

As a substitute, your task is to provide the children in the preschools with a safe and stimulating environment and to support the regular staff in their daily work. You may be studying, have another part-time job, or be at a stage in life where you are looking for a new job. The most important thing for us is that you are prepared to step in at short notice when we need you and that you are curious about our operations.

You will get to work in different units and be part of various teams. It is a varied, fun, and exciting assignment where you get the opportunity to work with experienced and skilled educators.

The substitutes can range from 4 hours up to full-time for shorter periods. Sometimes we need substitutes at short notice, which means that having a driver's license and access to your own car can be helpful.

Your Qualifications

You must be at least 18 years old, and we prefer that you have education and/or work experience in schools or preschools. We expect you to work from a holistic view of the child/student with respect for their individual needs.

It is important for us that you:

• have a positive attitude
• are caring and concerned that the children are doing well
• are responsible both regarding your tasks and relationships with children and colleagues
• are empathetic and genuinely care about other people
• are communicative and easily make yourself understood and understand others, regardless of age
• are respectful and value each person's integrity

Having a smile and laughter close at hand is, of course, always a plus!

The most important thing is that you have the personal qualities we are looking for to help children in their everyday lives in the best way possible.

Being understood and understanding others is important in these operations. Therefore, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
