Assistants Wanted at Kurera Omsorg

Scope: Kurera Omsorg is looking for permanent assistants as well as substitutes.

Employment Type: As long as the assignment lasts or as a substitute as needed.

Kurera Omsorg has new clients and needs to hire some staff. The clients live in or around Västervik.

The work involves irregular working hours, including days, evenings, awake nights, as well as sleeping on-call duties, weekends, and public holidays.

The work includes solitary work but also some double staffing. There may also be personal transfers using aids, but manual transfers may also occur.

We prefer that you are smoke-free and aware that strong scents can be a problem for clients and colleagues.

Before you start working independently, you will receive the necessary introduction and training tailored to the workplace.

Medical aids and medication delegation occur to varying degrees with our clients, and you will receive all necessary information about these during your introduction before starting work.

Aids such as lifts, turners, power wheelchairs, feeding pumps, suction devices, etc.

Our clients do not always communicate with words, so if you are knowledgeable in signs, pictures, or other forms of communication, it is a plus but not a requirement.

Some of our clients live in their own apartments or at home with their families, so you should be comfortable working in a family situation with parents and any siblings.

You should be prepared to accompany the client to various activities such as sports events or other hobbies that the client is interested in.

The tasks include all aspects of the client's daily life and home, such as hygiene, laundry, cleaning, shopping, activities, care visits, etc.

You should have a driver's license as our clients often have their own cars that you, as an assistant, will need to drive. It may also be the case that the client lives in a location where you need to use a car to get to and from work.

Some of our clients occasionally travel and may need to bring one or more assistants with them, so you should be able to be away from home for several days in a row.

The tasks also include accompanying the client to their activities, rehabilitation, and being able to be outdoors in all weather conditions if necessary.

You who are applying should be in good physical shape as there are personal transfers with many of our clients.

Having a driver's license is a plus but not a requirement.

Being smoke-free is a request from most of our clients.

We would like you to have experience from similar work in the past. You should be spontaneous, empathetic, creative, and enjoy making the day the best possible for the client.

• Signs as alternative communication (TAKK)
• Playful mindset.

Criminal Record:

In the event of employment, we will also ask you to present a personal certificate or ID document that verifies your identity and that you have a work permit for work in Sweden.
