to apply for the job
We are now looking for a personal assistant for a 25-year-old guy living with an NPF diagnosis. The guy needs personal assistance around the clock, and we are looking for someone who wants to work primarily during the day/evening and who can eventually consider working nights as well. The position is a fixed schedule of about 50-75%.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, committed, and enjoys working in a role where your efforts truly make a difference!
About the job
You will work as a personal assistant for a social and active 25-year-old guy living with a neuropsychiatric disability. He enjoys being active and has a strong interest in video games, football, training, animals, and health. It is important for him to have an active daily life where routines and predictability are crucial for creating security and stability.
As his personal assistant, you will support him in daily life both at home and during various activities. This may include accompanying him to activities or training, helping with household chores, cooking, taking care of pets, and providing social and communicative support in everyday life.
As his personal assistant, you will become an important part of a team that actively works to provide him with a meaningful existence based on his own needs, wishes, and conditions.
The guy requires assistance around the clock. Your introduction will primarily take place during the day/evening, but in the long term, we hope you can also work night shifts. He has waiting time/on-call during the night.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is secure, structured, attentive, and meticulous. Our team needs someone who is proactive, fearless, and responsible.
Since the guy has certain challenges in communication and social interaction, we see it as crucial that you can read situations and express yourself clearly and in an individualized manner.
Who are you?
Previous experience in personal assistance or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus but not a requirement. We prefer that you are smoke-free and refrain from nicotine and caffeine during your work shift. A driver's license and access to a car are desirable.
What we offer
You will be part of a small but wonderful workgroup that supports each other, where we work together to create security, participation, and quality of life for the guy we assist. With us, you will not only have a meaningful job but also great opportunities for personal development and training in the field of personal assistance.
Submit your application today; we look forward to hearing from you!
Note! Applications with video recordings will be prioritized.
