The Organization

Elisabethgården is beautifully located with large green areas and a lovely mature garden about 5 km south of Vimmerby.

At Elisabethgården, we conduct investigations on behalf of the social services regarding children's needs and parents' ability to meet those needs. Our target group is children aged 0-16 years along with their parents.

The investigations follow the BBIC investigation structure with elements of Signs of Safety and are based on interaction observations between parents and children. We base our approach on ICDP and TMO. Today, Elisabethgården has framework agreements with over 190 municipalities in Sweden.

During an investigation placement, the family is usually placed for 12-14 weeks. A team consisting of an investigator and two qualified contact persons is appointed, and they are responsible for planning activities for the family while they are at Elisabethgården.

Qualified Contact Person

We are now in need of summer substitutes and are looking for someone who is curious, driven, has a good ability to collaborate, and takes responsibility.

As a substitute contact person, you will work closely with families in their daily lives. Daily interaction observations, both planned and unplanned, which are then documented, form the basis of the work. The tasks also include conversations with children and parents as well as various practical tasks such as driving, contacts with authorities, visits, etc.

The position is a temporary employment starting in June and ending in August. You will work full-time on a rolling 3-week schedule with duty every third weekend.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is proactive, positive, engaged, and has a good ability to collaborate. You are structured and have a good ability to take responsibility. You have completed or started a two-year post-secondary education that is relevant to the work, such as social pedagogy, treatment pedagogy, or equivalent as assessed by the employer.

You are a person who enjoys working with people, especially children, as Elisabethgården places great emphasis on children based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child and children's rights.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good computer skills.

Before employment, we will request an extract from the police's suspicion and criminal record. A driver's license for a manual transmission is required.
