About the Workplace

Kurera Omsorg is now seeking staff for our clients in Hultsfred and Vimmerby.

The working hours are irregular, including evening, weekend, holiday shifts, and sleeping on-call. There may also be some double staffing involved.

The scope of work is scheduled or as a substitute.

We prefer that you are smoke-free and considerate of our clients or colleagues who may be sensitive to strong scents or have allergies.

Introduction and training will be provided at the workplace during orientation.

Job Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you should be comfortable working closely with the client in all areas where they need assistance, such as showering, toileting, dressing/undressing, and mobility. You should also be able to participate in their leisure activities or hobbies. There may be occasions when you need to accompany the client on trips or visits to relatives and friends, which may require you to be away from home for shorter or longer periods.

Previous experience with medical aids such as insulin, inhalation, and cough machines is considered a merit but not a requirement. This also applies to other types of aids such as lifts and turners.

If you have knowledge and experience of TAKK signs as alternative communication, pictograms, etc., that is a plus.

Some of our clients require you to have a driver's license, and you may need a car to commute to/from work.

You should be comfortable working in someone else's home where there may be family and children present.

You should be in good physical shape as there may be instances of personal transfers and heavy lifting.

Personal Qualities

We appreciate a cheerful disposition and a desire to make your client's daily life as enjoyable as possible. You should be prepared to accompany your client on various activities, both indoors and outdoors, including swimming facilities.

Criminal Record Check

Upon employment, you will need to provide a personal certificate and a valid ID.
