We are now looking for a Youth Club Leader for Östra Ringskolan

Your responsibilities

As a Youth Club Leader at Östra Ringskolan, you work with the students' social daily life, focusing on fun and inclusive recess activities together with our full-time mentors. You will have close collaboration regarding our students' school days, where you together plan activities for and with the students and create a safe place in the school's common areas. You are also responsible for the school's cafeteria.

You lead the work with the school's sports association (IF) and are involved in sports and outdoor activities as well as days with altered schedules. You will be largely responsible for graduations and surrounding events.

You will function as a key person in the school's operations. You are an important adult who stands up for the school's values and our common routines, and a good role model for our students.

This is a relief position (uppehållstjänst).

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a Youth Club Leader. We consider it an advantage if you have previous work experience as a Youth Club Leader or previous work with young people (e.g., within a club). If you have a B-driver's license, this is also considered an advantage.

You have a good ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are flexible and have a good sense of what is prioritized. You find it easy to understand young people and can put yourself in their situation while still being the adult. You enjoy leading, are willing to work, and take initiative in things that need to be done. You like challenges and working with young people.

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must provide an extract from the police's criminal record register before employment takes place.

Probationary employment may be applicable for the position.
