About the position
Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everyday matters and basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.
Who are you?
The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and identify what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is crucial that there is good chemistry between you and the customer.
Customer Profile
The customer is a young man in his 20s who lives with his family. He has a functional impairment that affects both his physical and mental well-being. Therefore, it is important that you are responsible and sensitive in your interactions with him and his family. The customer does not use verbal speech and communicates primarily through sounds and through family members who know him well.
Requirements for the position:
- Previous experience in personal assistance or care.
- Good knowledge of Swedish.
- Experience working with individuals without verbal speech.
- Strong physical stamina to handle the demands of the job.
Merits for the position:
- Experience in similar work.
Personal suitability will be given great weight.
Working hours, employment percentage, and salary
The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment percentage of approximately 75–80%. Working hours are scheduled during the day and evening, weekdays, and possibly weekends. Shifts are typically 14:00–21:00 Monday–Thursday.
Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.
Start date: Immediately or according to agreement.
