Personal Assistant for an Engaged 43-Year-Old Woman Across Sweden

Alma Assistans is the dedicated company that creates personal assistance in collaboration with the client. We work closely with our clients and know that good relationships are the key to a well-functioning assistance service. We operate throughout Sweden with our headquarters in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö.

I am a 43-year-old woman with multiple disabilities seeking a personal assistant who can be my extended arms and legs in daily life. The role involves supporting me with both personal care and various activities, both at home and out in the community. It is important that you can help me find a balance between activity and rest – and that you do so with respect, patience, and care.

I communicate through body language and sign language. People who know me well often say that my communication is clear; therefore, it is important that you are attentive, empathetic, and have a good ability to read situations.

About You

You are a calm, empathetic, and responsible woman who enjoys working closely with another human being. You are solution-focused, positive, and see the value in contributing to someone else's quality of life.

Your tasks may include:

• Helping with personal hygiene and daily routines.
• Accompanying me to horse riding and swimming – two of my great passions.
• Joining me on walks and other activities.
• Creating structure in daily life and contributing to a secure environment.

Qualifications that are a plus:

• Previous experience from healthcare and social care.
• Knowledge of epilepsy.
• Valid driver's license.
• Non-smoker.

• A good colleague who thrives in collaboration.
• Familiar with or curious about alternative communication.

I use a wheelchair outdoors and make short transfers with the support of assistants.

Working Hours

The work is scheduled at all times of the day and night, including night shifts.
