RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a person for a summer substitute position at Villekulla group home within the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a substitute at the group home, you will be assigned tasks based on the unit's needs. The work within the LSS Support and Care area focuses on interventions in the user's home within the group home.

As support staff, you provide support to people with special needs to facilitate and give them good care and a secure daily life. In this role, good treatment is a given. The tasks are planned according to the individual's needs and abilities according to the implementation plan. We value the strengths of each individual, and you work to promote participation and self-determination, which should contribute to a good quality of life for the individual. The work involves day/evening and weekends!

The tasks at the group home involve facilitating daily life for people who, due to various needs, require support to manage in everyday life. The main principle is to provide support and help based on the user's approved interventions, self-determination, and participation. The work consists of support and help with personal care and service interventions. The tasks also include documentation in our documentation system, Lifecare, as well as performing health and medical care tasks after delegation by the responsible nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Support Staff (Care and Nursing Program or equivalent)
  • Category B driver's license
  • Experience in similar work is preferred

We value that you are a responsible person who acts safely and stably regardless of the situation. Other valuable qualities in the profession are creativity, sensitivity, and a positive attitude. It is also important that you have good cooperation skills, are calm, and have the ability to adapt your working method based on the user's needs. It is also important that you feel comfortable working independently, as a large part of the work is done alone.

The work requires oral and written communication as well as documentation, therefore you must be computer literate and be able to master the Swedish language in both speech and writing. If you speak an additional language, it is a positive.

Employment type: Summer job / Holiday work.
Duration: 3-6 months.

The position is subject to ID control and register control.
