About the role

Lansen Omsorg AB is a privately owned care company offering support, care, and education to individuals with complex behavioral problems, aiming for a more independent life. We provide specialized housing under the LSS Act (Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), Section 9, Paragraph 1.

Our goal is to enable each individual to live life like everyone else.

Your responsibilities:

• You have a deep understanding of the user's physical, psychological, and mental needs and conditions.
• You are aware of the user's life goals, sense of meaning, interests, and sources of joy.
• You understand, accept, and follow the implementation plan established for the individual user.
• You assist with cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene support.
• You support the user in pursuing their leisure interests.
• You ensure the user's participation and influence in their daily life.

Your skills:

You are a warm and considerate person with a genuine interest in working with individuals with disabilities. You are secure and stable, understanding the importance of a consistent approach tailored to the individual's needs, interests, and wishes. You are empathetic and collaborate well with various partners. You have the ability to reflect on your own work and seek feedback to continuously develop your approach. You communicate well both verbally and in writing, and you value order and structure.

Merits:

• Previous experience working within the LSS framework, as a personal assistant, or with individuals with disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors.
• Knowledge of and experience with low-affective interaction and clarifying pedagogy.
