About the Child and Family Operations
The guiding star within the Child and Family operations area in Nybro Municipality is to offer the best possible support to the children, young people, and families we meet. We strive for a goal- and result-oriented operation, and for us, good treatment and compliance with current legal requirements are of highest priority.
One of the overarching goals within the operations is that children and young people, as far as possible, should be given the opportunity to live and grow up together with their families, or alternatively, be reunited with their origins in other ways. The direction of the operations is based on a systemic theoretical foundation with the best interests of the child in focus, where we strive to find alternative solutions in close collaboration with families and their networks.
However, the operations have an explicit responsibility for support and protection for children and young people who, for a shorter or longer period, need protection and may need to be placed outside the home.
