The Business and Competence Unit is now recruiting a Working Life Consultant for a fixed-term position.

Your responsibilities

As a Working Life Consultant, you work with the implementation of decisions made under the LSS Act (Support and Service Act for Certain Functionally Disabled) and the Social Services Act. You map out the individual's life situation and needs together with the person and their support network to ensure the right support measures are in place. You plan together to reach joint decisions.

You arrange internships and permanent positions on the open labor market or within other activities, and introduce the individual to these roles. You provide continuous support, maintain contact with the workplace, adapt the work environment, and strengthen and develop the individual. You are responsible for informing employers about relevant legislation, as well as informing them together with the individual about their disability.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who have post-secondary education within the social sector, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You should also have several years of experience working with this target group. For this position, you must hold a valid B-driver's license and be experienced in driving manual transmission vehicles.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience in similar operations, a large network within the local business community, and knowledge of various disabilities.

You have a strong commitment to both young people and adults who need support to move forward into the labor market or education. You are good at making new contacts and possess a high degree of sensitivity, empathy, and teamwork skills. You are organized, self-initiative, and serve as a good role model.

We will place great emphasis on your personal maturity and ability to function within a work group.
