We are looking for a Personal Assistant for a woman eligible for assistance in Kalmar. We are currently looking for an assistant to join our team!
Previous experience with autism is desirable. You must also not be allergic to animals.
About the Job
As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of the woman's daily life. You will help with what is needed to create a secure, active, and meaningful existence. Working hours are spread throughout the day and night and include sleeping on-call duty.
When we work at the customer's home or with the customer, we do not use strong scents such as perfume or body mist.
We are looking for you who:
- Are responsible and have a genuine interest in people
- Have experience with autism (meritorious)
- Have a driver's license and car (preferred)
- Are not allergic to fur-bearing animals – horses are part of everyday life

Company Information
Recruitment Process
We continuously contact candidates who are considered for a first interview. The position will be filled when we have found the right person, which may happen before the final application date. Your application will be processed by staff at Storsjöbygdens Personliga Assistans, together with the client, as well as any relatives, guardians, or other involved parties. If the position involves working with a minor client, an extract from the criminal record is required.
Child's Perspective in Recruitment
At Storsjöbygdens Personliga Assistans, we carefully follow the Convention on the Rights of the Child. This means that if you apply for a position involving work with minors, the recruitment process will include specific steps to ensure that the child's wishes and needs are taken into account. Employment involving work with minor clients also includes training on the child's perspective.
Terms of Employment
If you proceed in the recruitment process, you must be able to verify your identity and prove that you have the right to work in Sweden. To sign your employment contract and time reports, you are required to have a BankID.
To ensure that we maintain high quality in assistance, new employees will undergo a web-based introductory training (approx. 1 hour), preferably before the start of employment but no later than one month from the start of employment.
