About the Position

We are a school for grades 1-6 with a leisure center in the town of Mönsterås, with approximately 330 students. Here, you will work together with engaged and development-oriented teachers. At the school, we have, for example, class teachers, leisure center pedagogues, special education teachers, and lead teachers. We work in teams to create a calm and secure working environment that benefits our students' goal achievement. The school's student health service is undergoing positive change work. Job Responsibilities

As a counselor, you are part of the school's student health team and are an expert within the school regarding social work and social legislation, and you provide the psychosocial interventions of the student health service. You will, among other things, work to promote health and prevent mental ill-health, bullying, offensive treatment, discrimination, and harassment. In the student health service, we work in a cross-professional manner. You will be responsible for the school's Safety Team.

Scope: 80-100% until 2026-12-31, possibly with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications

You have a degree in social work or equivalent education. Experience with students in primary school grades 1-6 is considered an advantage. You have a great ability to create good and trusting relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and external actors. Furthermore, you have the ability to structure and plan your workday based on the needs of the operations and have an interest in working to promote and prevent development for the entire operation. The operations are based on continuous collaboration and development, which means that you have a great ability to collaborate with others. Experience is an advantage and desirable.
