We are now looking for an engaged and responsible personal assistant to an active individual in Oskarshamn who wishes support to live an independent and meaningful life. Are you flexible, caring, and able to adapt quickly? Then this might be the job for you!

About the client

The client is an active adult living in Oskarshamn. She leads a social and content-rich life, enjoys activities outside the home, and values independence. The client uses a wheelchair, and one of her activities is "Fläskboll" (Meatball), which involves playing with a yoga ball on a soccer goal.

Your tasks may vary, from helping with practical chores at home to accompanying the client on walks, activities, or assisting with personal training.

Responsibilities as a personal assistant

• Support in daily tasks, such as housework, meals, and personal hygiene.
• Accompanying the client to social activities, outings, and exercise.
• Transfers (good physical fitness is required).
• Providing security, care, and companionship.

About you

We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, and has a genuine interest in working with people. You are attentive, flexible, and able to prioritize the client's needs. We appreciate experience in similar work, but personal suitability is highly valued. To thrive in this role, you should be positive, proactive, and respectful of privacy within the home.

Requirements for the position

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You are a non-smoker.
• No allergy to fur-bearing animals.
• Valid Class B driver's license.

Qualifying experiences

• Experience working as a personal assistant or in other care roles.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Employment type and working hours

Temporary hourly employee as needed, during daytime and some weekends according to schedule. Start date by agreement.
