Are you our new colleague?

We are expanding our team to meet the new activity requirements coming into effect on July 1st. Therefore, we are looking for an additional engaged, curious, and confident social secretary who wants to work with us.

We offer you an stimulating assignment based on active change work at both the individual and organizational levels. You will join a work group with high staff density, long experience, and great job satisfaction. As a new employee, you will receive a thorough introduction lasting approximately two years, which includes mentorship from two experienced colleagues, providing excellent opportunities to further develop your skills.

We work with MI (Motivational Interviewing) and Instrument X according to the MIX method. If you have not taken these courses before, you will receive training in them. We will also undergo training in BIP (Behavioral Intervention Planning), which we will use in our work. As an employee, you will also receive supervision.

Your Responsibilities

Within the Employment Services, we focus on self-sufficiency, employment, work, and education. As a social secretary, you are the case manager in your cases and collaborate both internally and externally. Here, two social secretaries always work together on each case, and we hold case conferences every week where we guide and learn from each other.

We are looking for you who want to work actively with change work at both the individual and organizational levels.

The tasks include case handling, investigation, decisions within the area of financial assistance and interventions, support, motivational work, and collaboration with individuals, colleagues, and partners.

Supervision of students within the profession and mentoring of newly hired colleagues may become relevant periodically and is part of the regular duties.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a degree in social work (socionom) or social pedagogy (180 higher education credits). Experience from the field is meritorious, but if you are a recent graduate, it is no obstacle.

The position requires good knowledge of meeting people with different needs and backgrounds. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language and the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing.

To succeed and thrive in the role, it is required that you can work independently, be flexible, and have the ability to easily adapt to changes in operations. You need to have good collaboration skills, be calm and stable, and have a high degree of empathy. We value creativity in work and that you have a holistic view in your work.
