Job Responsibilities

The social pedagogue position is the school's part in a school social team that will be part of a collaboration project together with the social administration. The concept is based on collaboration between school and social services where the school social team works with attendance-promoting measures, preventive and targeted measures, as well as measures for students with high absenteeism. The target group is young people/students with repeated or long-term absence from school, and the goal is to increase attendance in teaching and increase the conditions for obtaining upper secondary school eligibility.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a social pedagogue or have other relevant education within psychosocial work.

You have a positive attitude and a belief that there are opportunities for every individual. You want to provide support and do it in a professional manner, and can therefore distinguish between facts, own opinions, and feelings, and act consistently. At the same time, you have the ability to adapt to changes and different people. You enjoy working both independently and in close cooperation with others. You can express yourself well in speech and writing. A B-driver's license is a requirement.

Employment can only take place after presentation of an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register.

Project employment with appointment according to agreement.

Selection will take place continuously, and interviews will be conducted during the application period.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start: 2026-08-04 or according to agreement, end: 2027-01-31.
Working hours: Daytime. Working hours outside office hours are included if necessary, for example at parent meetings and parent cafes.
