I am looking for a personal assistant for a part-time position of approximately 30 hours per week. The work is scheduled during the day, evening, and night, but initially, you will work daytime hours so that we can get to know each other. There is potential for more hours in the future.

About me

I am a 42-year-old, happy, and active guy living in my own apartment in Hultsfred. I feel best when I am active. I love horseback riding, swimming, strength training, bowling, and playing golf. Besides exercise, I enjoy computers, music, clothes, and cooking. During the day, I work in a day activity center, which gives me structure in my daily life.

Structure and clear routines are very important to me, and I thrive best when my home is tidy and organized. I also want to be spontaneous and do what I feel like doing – you play an important role in supporting me with this.

I communicate using some sign language, pictures, and my computer, so it is important that you have patience and help me express myself.

Your workplace is wherever I am, which means you need to be flexible. Excursions and trips are planned in consultation with you.

About you

I am looking for someone who is engaged and active, capable of assisting me with all my basic needs. You are stress-resistant, give me time to communicate, and accept me for who I am.

It is important that you speak calmly, coach me with patience, and help me create order and routines in daily life. You need to speak good Swedish so that we can communicate effectively. I thrive best with someone who is structured, solution-oriented, and enjoys participating in my activities, such as exercise and excursions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a personal assistant or working with people with special needs
• Nursing education is an advantage
• You are comfortable in water, as I swim regularly
• A driver’s license is an advantage but not a requirement
• You must be a non-smoker – this is a requirement!

Responsibilities

• Help me create a safe and structured daily life
• Support me during exercise and activities such as horseback riding, swimming, and strength training
• Assist with household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking
• Join me on excursions and trips

Scope

Part-time employment, approximately 30 hours per week. Working hours include day, evening, and night.
