Within Functional Support, we work with individuals who have various functional variations. We are recruiting for the following areas of focus:

Group Housing/Service Housing under LSS and SoL.

The individual lives in their own apartment with access to staff around the clock and shared spaces. Residents here have varying support needs, such as personal hygiene, medication, cooking, and leisure interests.

Personal Assistance under the LSS Act

The individual lives in their own home and has a decision regarding personal assistance. The decision specifies the extent of the support/help to be provided and at what times of the day.

As a personal assistant, you help and support the individual with tasks they cannot manage on their own, such as personal hygiene, mobility, cooking, household chores, communication, medication, assistive devices, leisure activities, and more. In your role as a personal assistant, you always support the individual to live as independent a life as possible.

Working alone occurs, and a driver's license is normally required.

Social Psychiatry/Housing Support under LSS and SoL

The individual may live in shared housing or in their own home. The individual receives support from staff to maintain a functional everyday life. Support may include planning shopping, cooking, managing their home, and other practical matters.

Short-term stay for children and young people under LSS and SoL:

Södergården

This is a short-term residence for children and young people with neuropsychiatric diagnoses. We have four places and staff available around the clock.

We focus on creating structure and routine in everyday life. We work motivationally to ensure the individual attends school and activities, and can participate according to their ability in events at the short-term residence while staying with us.

Tallbacken Short-term Residence

Children and young people with functional variations come here when parents need respite in their daily lives and for the children to experience a change of environment. The children at Tallbacken are between 1–21 years old and have varying support needs; some children need help with most things, while others only need social support. At Tallbacken, children get to craft, play games, play, and go on excursions together with the staff.

Tallbacken Leisure

At Tallbacken Leisure, children from age 13 spend their time. Children are at leisure before and after school and during holidays. Here, children get to play and socialize with other children. The children at leisure have varying support needs from the staff.

Short-term stay for adults under LSS

The short-term residence for young people and adults functions similarly to the short-term stay for children and young people. We have four places and staff available around the clock.

The care needs vary among those staying at the short-term residence; some people staying here may need support with most aspects of their daily life, while others may be more independent.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who have ongoing or completed upper secondary or post-secondary education. We prefer that you have a focus on healthcare and social care, social work, behavioral science, psychiatry, or pedagogy.

In the role, you need to be receptive and have good ability to collaborate with the individual, colleagues, relatives, and other partners.

You need to be flexible and able to adapt quickly when the situation requires it, have a positive attitude, and be solution-oriented.

The position requires basic IT skills to work with the systems we use for record-keeping, digital communication (e.g., email), and implementation plans.

Being able to communicate and understand others is important in our operations. Therefore, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.

Work may occur during the day, evening, weekend, and night. In some of our operations, a Class B driver's license is required.

We are looking for you who can primarily work during the summer period between week 24 and 35.
