Within Functional Support, we work with individuals who have various functional variations. In this recruitment, we are hiring for the following areas:

Group Housing/Service Housing under LSS and SoL

The individual lives in their own apartment with access to staff around the clock and shared spaces. Residents have varying support needs, such as personal hygiene, medication, cooking, and leisure interests.

Personal Assistance under LSS

The individual lives in their own home and has a decision regarding personal assistance. The decision specifies the extent of support and the times of day it should be provided.

As a personal assistant, you help and support the individual with tasks they cannot manage alone, such as personal hygiene, mobility, cooking, household chores, communication, medication, assistive devices, and leisure activities. Your goal is always to support the individual in living as independently as possible.

Working alone occurs, and a driver's license is normally required.

Social Psychiatry/Supported Living under LSS and SoL

The individual may live in shared housing or their own home and receives support from staff to maintain a functional daily life. Support may include planning shopping, cooking, managing the home, and other practical tasks.

Short-term Stay for Children and Young People under LSS and SoL

Södergården

This is a short-term residence for children and young people with neuropsychiatric diagnoses. We have four places and staff available 24/7.

We focus on creating structure and routine in daily life. We work motivationally to ensure the individual attends school and activities and can participate to the best of their ability during their stay.

Tallbacken Short-term Residence

Children and young people with functional variations come here when parents need respite in their daily lives and the children need a change of environment. Residents at Tallbacken are between 1–21 years old and have varying support needs; some need help with most things, while others primarily need social support. At Tallbacken, children can craft, play games, play, and go on excursions together with staff.

Tallbacken Leisure

At Tallbacken Leisure, children from age 13 spend their time. They are there before and after school and during holidays. Here, children can play and socialize with others. Support needs from staff vary.

Short-term Stay for Adults under LSS

The short-term residence for young people and adults functions similarly to the stay for children and young people. We have four places and staff available 24/7.

Care needs vary; some individuals need support with most aspects of daily life, while others are more self-sufficient.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with ongoing or completed upper secondary or post-secondary education. We prefer candidates with a focus on care and nursing, social work, behavioral science, psychiatry, or pedagogy.

In this role, you need to be receptive and have good skills in collaborating with the individual, colleagues, relatives, and other partners.

You need to be flexible, able to adapt quickly when the situation requires it, have a positive attitude, and be solution-oriented.

The position requires basic IT skills to work with our systems for record keeping, digital communication (e.g., email), and implementation plans.

Being understood and understanding others is crucial in our operations. Therefore, good proficiency in Swedish, both oral and written, is required.

Work may occur during the day, evening, weekends, and nights. A B-class driver's license is required in some of our operations.

We are looking for someone who can primarily work during the summer period between week 24 and 35 and who will be 18 years old before the position starts.
