Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Disability Groups). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks will vary depending on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making daily life run smoothly.

About the role

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. Our client is a woman in her 30s with a congenital CP disability who uses a wheelchair in her daily life. She primarily uses a computer for communication.

Our client is a happy, lovely, and social young woman who values an active life, which is why your role as her personal assistant is very important.

We are now looking for you who fit the following:

• want to work for a woman in her 30s living in Bergkvara

• have good knowledge of Swedish

• are not allergic to fur-bearing animals

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience in similar work

• have experience with ceiling and floor lifts

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary:

The position is a temporary hourly assignment. The work involves shifts on weekdays and weekends from 13:00 to 13:00 (24 hours), as well as 13:00 to 08:25 on days when the client is at day activity.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.
