The schools in Nybro Municipality aim to provide every child and student with the best conditions for success. In Nybro Municipality, children, students, and guardians meet well-educated and engaged educators, teachers, principals, and staff who all strive to create a safe school environment with a focus on the quality of education. The culture aims to provide residents with good access to culture and strengthen cultural associations so they can conduct a wide range of cultural activities. The Learning and Culture Administration in Nybro Municipality operates preschools, preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, after-school care, high schools, and municipal adult education with SFI and special education for adults. Within the administration, there is training in glass craftsmanship through the National Glass School in Pukeberg, as well as commissioned training and vocational training. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Social work at the individual, group, and organizational level in schools in Nybro Municipality.

The work is divided into two parts: The main part is based on the student health work conducted at the individual school according to the intentions of the Education Act, where the principal is responsible for the promotional and preventive work, as well as for the interventions that need to be made in relation to individual students.

The smaller part of the work is done at the central level in collaboration with fellow school social workers, other child and student health personnel, and development strategists to increase equity among the various schools in the municipality and to strengthen professional competence and knowledge for the best possible interventions at each school.

You are employed within central child and student health and are part of a group of school social workers placed at the school units. The professional group meets regularly and has several exchanges together.

All professional groups within central child and student health may be involved in cross-administrative student health assignments to prevent, promote, address, and develop student health work in the municipality or to contribute to student health work in administrative matters.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in social work or other education deemed equivalent by the employer, such as social pedagogy.

Previous experience as a school social worker is an advantage.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
