We are looking for a personal assistant for a woman with assistance rights in Kalmar. 27 hours per week, according to a 4-week rolling schedule. Start date: February 1st.
The position is a temporary replacement for an assistant who is on leave.
Experience with autism is preferred.
Also, you should not be allergic to animals.
About the job
As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of the woman's daily life. You will help with what is needed to create a safe, active, and meaningful existence. The shifts are scheduled throughout the day and include sleeping duty.
When we work at the client's home or with the client, we do not use strong scents such as perfume or body mist.
We are looking for someone who:✅ Is responsible and has a genuine interest in people
✅ Has experience with autism (preferable)
✅ Has a driver's license and a car (desirable)
✅ Is not allergic to furry animals – horses are part of everyday life

Recruitment Process
We continuously contact candidates who are relevant for a first interview. The position will be filled when we have found the right person, which may happen before the application deadline. Your application will be processed by staff at Storsjöbygdens personal assistance, together with the client, and any relatives, guardians, or other concerned parties. If the position involves working with a minor client, a criminal record check is required.
Child Perspective in Recruitment
We at Storsjöbygdens personal assistance carefully follow the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which means that if you apply for a position that involves working with minors, the recruitment process will include specific steps to ensure that the child's will and needs are taken into account. When employed in a position where you work with a minor client, training on the child perspective is also included.
Employment Conditions
If you proceed in the recruitment process, you will need to verify your identity and prove that you have the right to work in Sweden. To sign your employment contract and time reports, you will need a BankID.
To ensure that we maintain high quality in the assistance, new employees will undergo a web-based introductory training (about 1 hour), preferably before the start of employment but no later than within a month from the start of employment.
