About the client

A lovely wheelchair-bound woman in her 60s living with an acquired brain injury. She has cognitive difficulties and needs assistance with most aspects of her daily life.

She enjoys going for daily walks, baking, and solving crosswords.

About you

We are looking for an engaged and self-sufficient personal assistant for a person with special needs. The role involves providing support in daily life and contributing to creating a safe and stimulating environment tailored to the client's wishes and needs.

It is important that you are calm, self-assured, have initiative, and are responsible. Experience working with people is a plus.

As there are no bus connections to the home, which is located about 30 km south of Kalmar, it is an advantage if you have a driver's license and access to a car.

Job responsibilities

Assist with daily routines such as personal hygiene and dressing.

Support with cooking and household chores.

Participate in social activities and leisure interests.

Transfers using a lift.

Qualifications

Experience in similar work is an advantage but not a requirement.

Ability to handle stress and work calmly in pressured situations.

Driver's license (B).

No pet allergies.

Non-smoker or strong perfumes.

About the position

The position is a summer substitute from June to September.

Working hours are varied and include both day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays between 8:15 AM - 9:45 PM, divided into one day and one evening shift. Saturdays from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
