We are looking for a substitute teacher for grade 1 at Överumsskolan.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating work individually and together with other educators at the school according to the school's governing documents and with our vision in mind. You will be the class teacher for a primary class and will conduct your own teaching while collaborating closely with other educators in the organization.

As a teacher, you work to promote each student's development and learning. It is your responsibility to create good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are a positive role model for all students at the school.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teaching certification for elementary school, particularly for grades 1-3. We prefer candidates with previous experience as a teacher in Swedish elementary schools. It is also an advantage if you have a MA qualification for elementary school.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have a good ability to collaborate, be attentive, and easily understand other people's perspectives. You should be self-assured, stable, and have good self-awareness.

It is important in this role that you possess a high degree of personal maturity and a well-developed pedagogical ability. You have a good understanding of how children and adolescents absorb knowledge and the various conditions for learning. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances in the organization.

A driver's license and access to your own car are required for the position.

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must provide an extract from the police criminal record before employment can take place.

The position may be subject to internal mobility.
