About the Position

The agricultural profile is one of the school's oldest and largest educational branches. With the new high school reform, we are now bringing the education into the future. You will become one of the most important people in our students' daily lives. Together with the team for the education within our agricultural profile at the nature school, you will have the opportunity to inspire, engage, and educate young people in agricultural subjects.

The position involves teaching on the school grounds and out in the field, consisting of practical driving with machines and tools. It also includes theoretical and practical teaching in crop production, machinery knowledge, service, and maintenance.

About You 

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop our education. To be suitable for the position, you need to have solid experience working in the agricultural field and good competence in machinery and crop production. You are a good role model, social, structured, and passionate about educating the next generation in the green sector.

You find it easy to collaborate, stay updated within the industry, and independently carry out your part of the teaching, both in planning and execution.

Desired Qualifications (not all are necessary):  · B driver's license

· vocational certificate/driver's license in agriculture and contracting

Education or several years of practical work in agriculture is an advantage. If you are a trained vocational teacher, that is a big plus.

Start Date  to be agreed upon.

About Naturbruksgymnasiet Kalmar

About 170 students attend the school, and we have about 35 staff members. The school is in an expansive phase with renovations of dormitories and school buildings, new machines, a new curriculum, and exciting school development. The school is located in a picturesque area just outside Kalmar. Teachers, instructors, and other staff are the school's most important resource. You are important! We have a close collaboration with our sister schools Ingelstadgymnasiet and Gamlebygymnasiet.

The Agricultural Society Kalmar Kronoberg Blekinge consists of about 250 employees spread across six different offices and schools. This allows us to seek competencies across a large part of the country and offer job opportunities in three different counties.
