We are now looking for someone interested in a temporary position as a teacher for the middle school at Brevik School.

You will work as a teacher for the middle school at the school in subjects including Swedish, English, and Social Studies. Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating the work according to the school's governing documents and with our vision in focus, both individually and together with other educators at the school. You will lead your own teaching and also collaborate closely with other educators in the organization.

As a teacher, you work to promote each student's development and learning. Your responsibility includes creating good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are a positive role model for all students at the school.

We are looking for someone who has a teaching degree and teaching certification for middle school. Previous experience in educational work at the primary school level is an advantage.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have a good ability to collaborate, be attentive, and easily understand other people's perspectives. You need to be self-assured, stable, and have good self-awareness.

It is important in the role that you have a well-developed pedagogical ability. You have a good understanding of how children and youth absorb knowledge and the different conditions for learning. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances in the organization.

The positions are subject to background checks. Applicants must provide an extract from the police criminal record before employment can occur.
