Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation is a municipal federation tasked with conducting and developing upper secondary education and municipal adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4000 students and 600 employees across our five schools.

Lars Kagg School is one of the upper secondary schools in Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation. The school has about 1300 students and around 150 staff members. We offer both vocational programs and college preparatory programs. We provide a friendly and pleasant workplace with dedicated colleagues in a developing environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for two vocational teachers who want to help develop our operations at Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation, with placement in Lars Kagg School's Electrical and Energy Program. The main content of the positions is practical and theoretical teaching in upper secondary courses in the Electrical and Energy Program. The positions also involve mentorship, where you work closely with student health and guardians to ensure students thrive, have high attendance, and achieve high goal fulfillment.

QUALIFICATIONS

For one of the positions in the Electrical and Energy Program, we are looking for someone who works or has worked in one or more areas of electrical engineering as an electrician or similar, or in automation with electrical engineering knowledge. For the other position, we are looking for someone who works or has worked in one or more areas of energy technology, electrical power technology, or electrical distribution.

It is advantageous if you hold authorization, but it is not a requirement! You have good professional skills and find it easy to guide and instruct others. You are a person with a genuine interest in working with young people. With your commitment, you provide students with excellent conditions to develop as far as possible. You are a person who collaborates well but also takes great personal responsibility, is flexible, and enjoys taking initiative and seeing opportunities. Personal suitability is highly valued.

OTHER

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record for work in schools must be presented.

The position will be filled, provided that it is not needed by surplus staff or that the necessary political decisions are made.
