The Child and Education Administration in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to higher education, and also oversees Swedish for immigrants (SFI) and social orientation for newcomers. Our common goal is that the children and youth of Vimmerby municipality should have the best conditions to meet the future and develop into creative, curious, and secure individuals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• We are looking for a primary school teacher for grades 4-6. You need to be qualified in Swedish, Mathematics, and Science.
• As a class teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing the teaching in the subjects you teach.
• Class leadership responsibility is included in the position.
• You are responsible for creating a positive and creative learning environment that increases students' desire to learn and promotes knowledge development.
• You work in a way where values and security permeate the entire school day and ensure that each student receives the support they need.
• You see collaboration and dialogue with students, guardians, and colleagues as a natural part of the work on safety.
• You are part of a grade team and a work team, where continuous collegial work takes place to develop the quality of teaching and meet students' needs in the best way.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed primary school teacher qualified to teach grades 4-6. You have a well-thought-out view of knowledge and students. Your ability to collaborate is good, and you plan, implement, and evaluate the activities together with your colleagues. Reflection on learning is a given for you, and you are happy to share with others in collegial learning. You are flexible and have good pedagogical insight. Additionally, you are structured and have a clear leadership style in the classroom.

Quality in teaching is a requirement for good goal fulfillment. You see this as a given and therefore ensure that your teaching is goal-oriented, challenging, and has content and methodological variation. You have a high assessment competence. To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you are a secure and stable leader who easily creates good and trusting relationships with both students and guardians as well as colleagues.
