The Department of Children and Education in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to higher education, and also oversees Swedish for immigrants (SFI) and social orientation for newcomers. Our shared goal is for the children and youth of Vimmerby municipality to have the best conditions to meet the future and develop into creative, curious, and secure individuals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a primary school teacher, you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work. You are well-versed in the curriculum and accustomed to working towards applicable goals and quality standards within the organization. As a good role model, you adhere to the norms and values prescribed by the curriculum, and you actively contribute to fulfilling the school's mission with high quality.

Your task is to promote each student's learning and development, as well as to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to feel safe and thrive in school. The position includes teaching social studies in combination with another subject.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher for primary school grades F-6 and is familiar with teaching in these grades.

We would like you to contribute with engagement, creativity, and drive to develop the organization. You meet each student with respect and attentiveness. You need to have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
