RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute with us, you are an important part of the operation. Your role is to work together with the regular staff to create a safe, stimulating, and joyful environment where every child has the opportunity to grow and develop.

As a substitute, your task is to provide children with a safe and stimulating environment and support the regular staff in their daily work. Together with the regular staff, you will work to design a safe, educational, and joyful day with the child's best interests in focus. It is a varied and exciting assignment where you will have the opportunity to work with experienced and skilled educators. Together, you will support the children in their development and conduct educational work according to the curriculum.

The work involves:

• Supporting children in their play, development, and learning.
• Collaborating with the preschool's regular staff and following the routines of the operation.
• Contributing to ensuring that every child feels seen, heard, and involved.
• Creating a warm and accessible atmosphere where curiosity and creativity can thrive.

You will work at different preschools within the municipality depending on the needs of the day. This can involve anything from a few hours of work to full days or longer substitutes. Working hours may vary depending on the operation's opening hours, which can include a few hours per day, full days, or shorter periods according to a schedule.

Our operation is subject to background checks. This means that if you are considered for work in a preschool or school, you must be able to present a background extract from the Police's criminal record. The extract must be valid for employment in preschools, schools, after-school care, and other educational activities. Hultsfred Municipality also conducts background checks before any employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is responsible, curious, creative, flexible, and attentive. Together with other educators, you create opportunities for learning and development for each individual child.

To be considered for a position in the staffing pool, we prefer that you have the ability to work at least three days a week. For those who are flexible, there are great opportunities to work more if you wish. Since several of our preschools are located in the outskirts, you need to have a driver's license and access to a car.

We view it very positively if you have educational training and previous experience working with children or in care. If you have a genuine interest in working with children and want to be part of our operation but lack formal education, we also encourage you to apply!
