The Department of Children and Education in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to university, and also oversees Swedish for immigrants (SFI) and civic orientation for newcomers. Our shared goal is that the children and youth of Vimmerby municipality will have the best conditions to meet the future and develop into creative, curious, and secure individuals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged and flexible substitute teacher for Vimarskolan 7-9. You are a good role model and follow the norms and values set by the primary school curriculum, contributing to the implementation and fulfillment of the primary school's mission with high quality. Your task is to promote each student's learning and development, as well as to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to thrive and feel secure in the school's activities.

Your tasks vary but may include:

• Leading instruction - being responsible for conducting lessons based on the regular teacher's planning and instructions.
• Supporting students - helping and guiding students in their schoolwork and development.
• Creating a safe environment - contributing to a calm and positive climate in the classroom and at school.

You will have an 80% employment at the school, and when there is no need for substitutes, you will work in the school's resource center or wherever the school sees a need.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have experience teaching at the secondary level.

As a person, you are secure and have a good ability to create motivation and engagement among students. You are attentive, open, and contribute to a positive collaborative climate where problems are solved constructively. You build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are responsible and can plan and structure your work independently. At the same time, you are creative and are happy to contribute new ideas to develop the operations.
