About the position

The agricultural profile is one of the school's oldest and largest educational branches. With the new high school reform, we are now bringing education into the future. You will become one of the most important people in our students' everyday lives. Together with the team for education within our agricultural profile at the nature school, you will have the opportunity to inspire, engage, and educate young people in agricultural subjects. 

The position involves teaching both theory and practice in various subjects within the Nature Management Program with a focus on animals and agriculture. 

About you 

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop our education. To be suitable for the position, you need to have good competence in both practical and theoretical animal husbandry and be able to convey the connection between these, as well as have the ability to meet students at different levels of knowledge. You are a good role model, social, structured, and passionate about educating the next generation in the green sector.  

You find it easy to collaborate, stay updated in the industry, and independently carry out your part of the teaching, both planning and execution.

Desirable qualifications (not all are necessary):  · B driver's license

· Agronomist, Agricultural Manager, or other relevant education 

· Practical experience in several areas of animal husbandry 

· Vocational teacher  

Start date  by agreement.

About Naturbruksgymnasiet Kalmar

About 170 students attend the school, and we have about 35 staff members. The school is in an expansive phase with renovations of dormitories and school buildings, new machines, a new curriculum, and exciting school development. The school is located in a scenic area just outside Kalmar. Teachers, instructors, and other staff are the school's most important resource. You are important! We have a close collaboration with our sister schools Ingelstadgymnasiet and Gamlebygymnasiet.

The Agricultural Society of Kalmar Kronoberg Blekinge consists of about 250 employees spread across six different offices and schools. This allows us to seek competencies across a large part of the country and offer job opportunities in three different counties.
