Nordic International School Kalmar is currently seeking licensed primary school teachers in several subjects for the spring term of 2026.
Do you have a teaching license in any of the following subjects: Art (grades 4-9), Textiles (grades 4-9), Spanish (grades 6-9), French (grades 6-9), German (grades 6-9), Swedish as a second language (grades 4-9), English (grades 7-9), Science (grades 7-9)? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
Your mission
As a teacher with us, you will be part of an engaged team of dedicated colleagues. Every day, we do our best to help students reach their full potential. You lead the work in the classroom with a warm and clear hand, and your leadership is characterized by presence and inclusion.
Your main responsibility consists of teaching your subject(s) in primary school (middle and high school), where you plan, implement, and evaluate your own teaching. Of course, you are open to both giving and receiving feedback on your teaching, and you constantly strive to develop as a teacher.
Mentorship may be included in the position.

Experience working as a teacher.
Swedish teaching license.
Qualifications in the relevant subjects.

A natural leader with the ability to create structure and clarity in the classroom.
Friendly and empathetic, and have an easy time building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

Conditions
Employment type: Permanent, seasonal position. A probationary period applies.
Start date: By agreement.
