We are looking for someone who wants to work as a teacher in the Industrial Technology program!

Your Responsibilities

You will be part of a team within the upper secondary education and teach in the Industrial Technology program. Teaching will take place both in classrooms and in our workshop environment. The courses you teach may vary over time as course placements can change to match the labor market's need for skills and follow changes from the Swedish National Agency for Education's recommendations and our timetable allocations.

In the role of vocational teacher, you will be responsible for teaching, planning, and follow-up, as well as supporting each student in their development with a strong value-based approach. We work with a coaching approach focusing on the individual’s needs and conditions on their way to employment or further studies. The role also includes actively participating in development work both within your own team and from a management-wide perspective. You will also be a mentor for a group of students.

Your main responsibilities will be in operational reliability and maintenance, where you will teach strategic and systematic maintenance for the functionality and safe operation of equipment. Analyze and ensure operations at industrial facilities and work with daily maintenance of equipment and facilities.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a vocational teacher in our industrial technology education and has a high degree of personal maturity.

A prerequisite for succeeding in the role of vocational teacher is that you have knowledge in industrial technology and industrial production. It is also advantageous if you have previous experience working as a teacher, preferably with a teaching license or in another educational role, and are accustomed to meeting and supporting students in their learning and development.

As a person, you are development-oriented and have good communication skills as well as the ability to see the big picture. Collaboration is a natural part of our work, and you are open to receiving both feedback and feed-forward from students, colleagues, and management to improve your teaching and create new opportunities for your students. If you are also someone who engages with current research and dares to think outside the box and challenge established patterns, thriving in an environment that demands responsibility, flexibility, decisiveness, and social competence, you could be the missing piece we are looking for!
