Oxhagsskolan is a F-6 school located in central Kalmar. We are a relatively newly established municipal school and are in the process of building up our operations. We base our teaching on clarity, structure, and expectations. We actively work to create a learning environment that provides all students with the conditions to succeed based on their needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help strengthen students' learning, participation, and well-being? We are now looking for an engaged special teacher for Oxhagsskolan. In the role of special teacher, you will work together with the school's staff to develop inclusive working methods and support students in need of special support.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a special teacher degree and a teaching license for F-6. We are looking for someone who is empathetic, attentive, and confident in their profession. You meet students where they are, build trusting relationships, and help them develop both academically and personally. You are flexible and solution-oriented, seeing opportunities in changes and new working methods. You communicate easily with both students, guardians, and colleagues and show pedagogical creativity in adapting teaching to different needs.

Kalmar Municipality checks identity and work permits before anyone is employed. This means that you, as an applicant, need to show identification. If applicable, you may also need to present your residence and work permit.

As a permanent employee of Kalmar Municipality, you will be assigned to your workplace and are expected to contribute with your work during heightened readiness.
