The school in Nybro municipality aims to give every child and student the best conditions for success. In Nybro municipality, children, students, and guardians meet well-educated and engaged educators, teachers, principals, and staff who all strive to create a safe school environment with a focus on the quality of education. The culture aims to provide residents with good access to culture and strengthen cultural associations so they can conduct a breadth of cultural activities. The Learning and Culture Administration in Nybro municipality runs preschool, preschool class, primary school, adapted primary school, school childcare, secondary school, and municipal adult education with SFI and special education for adults. JOB DESCRIPTION

You will work both independently and in teams. It is expected that you participate in our various pedagogical meetings and APT meetings according to your working hours. Study guidance in the mother tongue in other subjects will occur. The work is located in different schools in the municipality, which means that you will move during the workday. The position also includes a lot of contact with guardians, attendance reporting, lesson planning, etc.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, interested in language development, and goal-oriented.

We place great importance on your ability to collaborate and communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, as well as your ability to independently conduct your teaching based on governing documents. Knowledge of the syllabus in the subject of mother tongue, pedagogical planning, assessment descriptions, and grading is meritorious.

We are looking for someone who wants to be a role model and contribute to good study results. You are open and welcoming in your interactions with others, have the courage to think innovatively, and the drive to turn ideas into action.

You are accustomed to using digital learning tools that are an integral part of your practice, as well as collaborating with other educators/teachers on planning and executing teaching in accordance with the curriculum.

The working hours are 5-10%, with the language and student base determining the working hours. In Nybro, mother tongue and study guidance is conducted as part of the teaching in schools.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have excellent knowledge of the mother tongue and the culture and traditions of the areas/countries where the mother tongue is spoken. We expect you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language as well as insight into Swedish culture and tradition. You have a university education and experience in teaching. You also have documented experience of previous work with mother tongue in preschool/primary school and secondary school. You have a clear pedagogical idea of how you can support the development of each student based on the intentions of the curriculum and governing documents.
