Riksbyggen is making significant investments in renovations and we are now looking for a driven project economist for our Renovation business area. Here, you will play a key role in a growing business with clear growth targets – and the chance to develop alongside us.

Our renovation operations are an important part of Riksbyggen's overall strategy and our long-term commitment to our customers. Our operations realize many of the maintenance and renovation projects that our managed housing cooperatives face. The projects we undertake vary widely in nature, complexity, and duration; examples include pipe replacements, climate shells, electrical installations, and solar panels. We continue to invest in our renovation operations and exciting developments are on the way. We are now looking for a project economist for our operations.

A Role Where You Make a Real Difference

As a project economist with us, you will be an important support to our approximately 90 project managers in renovation projects across the country. You will work closely with the operations and assist in the project's finances throughout the entire process – from forecasts and follow-ups to reporting and final accounting. With your analytical skills and business understanding, you contribute to well-founded decisions and strong results.

You will be part of an engaged team where you collaborate closely with another project economist, develop our financial working methods, and may also participate in improvement and development projects. The role reports to the Business Manager for Renovation.

You Contribute with Your Expertise and Commitment

You have a university degree in economics and at least 2-3 years of experience in qualified economic work, preferably within the construction or property sector. You are familiar with budgeting, follow-ups, and accounting, work in a structured and proactive manner, and thrive in an advisory role close to the projects. Experience with progressive revenue recognition, housing cooperatives, and strong Excel skills are advantageous.

As a person, you are communicative, pedagogical, and trustworthy – with a strong drive to create value together with others.
