Legal Assistant at the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority

At the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (FI), we work to contribute to a stable and well-functioning financial market. Within the Markets area, we are now looking for someone who wants to work as a legal assistant in a role with significant administrative responsibility and close collaboration with experienced colleagues in law, economics, and administration. Here, you will contribute to legally secure processes, high quality in case management, and an important societal mission.

About the Role

As a legal assistant in the Markets area, you have a broad administrative responsibility that is crucial for our processes. You support the operation by managing registrations in our systems, dispatching documents and decisions, and receiving and administering incoming cases. The work also includes compiling information, statistics, and other materials for budget follow-up, as well as being responsible for functional mailboxes and ongoing communication with external counterparts.

The role also includes register checks and preparation of simpler cases, including in the licensing area. You contribute to good register maintenance and correct and efficient handling of cases with high demands on traceability and quality.

You work closely with lawyers, economists, and other colleagues within the Markets area and FI as a whole. The role requires that you are service-oriented, meticulous, and solution-focused, and that you enjoy taking initiative and helping where needed. As our regulations and system support evolve over time, the role will continue to develop, giving you the opportunity to grow in your tasks.

  • several years of relevant administrative work experience.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • relevant post-secondary education, such as paralegal/YH, or relevant university courses
  • experience in case management within the court system or another authority
  • experience working with financial companies
  • knowledge of technical systems for registering information and/or cases
  • knowledge of the securities market.

About You

In this job, you need to:

  • contribute to good collaboration
  • plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively
  • communicate clearly with different target groups
