Do you want a summer job that actually makes a difference – for real? We are now looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for one (or more) of our customers in Karlstad and surrounding areas during the summer months.

We would like you to start your training soon, so that you have time to feel secure in your role before the summer kicks off. There is also the possibility to work extra if needed before the summer.

Working as a personal assistant is a varied and meaningful job. No day is the same as the other. The work looks different depending on which customer you work with, but what is common is that you are the customer's extended arm – you enable independence and quality of life where the disability sets limits.

Previous experience in care and assistance is an advantage, but the most important thing for us is personal suitability. The right person with the right attitude is crucial.

Working as a personal assistant can look very different depending on the type of disability the customer has, just as we are all different individuals whether we have a disability or not. As a personal assistant, you compensate for what the customer cannot do themselves, so that they can live like others to the greatest extent possible. Working in another person's home places high demands on you as an assistant, and there may also be a family to consider. It is important to have a sense of how the customer wants things in different situations.
