Archivist at the Economic Crime Authority
The Economic Crime Authority prevents, detects, interrupts, investigates, and prosecutes economic crimes. Our 800 employees have various competencies and professional roles, such as prosecutors, police officers, economic crime investigators, administrators, and other specialists, all working together against economic crime. Workplace
The Legal Unit at the Economic Crime Authority is responsible for providing legal support to the various parts of the agency. The Legal Unit has functions for legal matters, archives, and registration. The unit produces memoranda and methodological support and participates in training and other competence-enhancing initiatives within the agency. The unit is also responsible for responding to consultations and providing opinions, as well as handling issues related to confidentiality and personal data processing. The unit collaborates closely with other authorities with related tasks.
The agency's central archive function is located at the Legal Unit at the agency's headquarters in Stockholm. The archive and registration function deals with information management issues such as document management, documentation, confidentiality, and personal data processing and is responsible for the agency's central archive and registration. We are now looking for a new colleague who is an experienced archivist.
Job Responsibilities
The position is broad and includes both ongoing work and the development of operational support for effective case management and archiving. With us, you will work with archive and document management issues such as:
- participating in and driving development projects
- conducting retention investigations
- developing and managing e-archives
- creating and implementing new procedures for document management and registration in collaboration with the operations
- being responsible for the agency's archive reporting
- providing support to various parts of the organization on archive and document management issues.
The position includes collaboration with other authorities and participation in and development of training and other competence-enhancing initiatives. The position also includes practical archive work such as cataloging, executing retention, archive deliveries, and retrieval of documents, as well as assisting the registration when needed.
The position may also include other issues related to information management.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- completed academic education with at least 60 credits in archive and information science
- experience working with archive issues in public operations
- excellent ability to express yourself in speech and writing
It is advantageous if you also have:
- experience from working within the judicial system
- experience working with Platina and e-archives
- experience working with process mapping and retention investigations
- experience working on development projects within the archive field
- experience working with the disclosure of public documents and confidentiality issues

You have the ability to solve complex issues from multiple perspectives and regulations and can present complex issues in a pedagogical manner. Part of the work is done in collaboration with the agency's operational activities. This requires you to have high collaboration skills and integrity.
