We from the County Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Örnsköldsvik are looking for a medical secretary. Our medical secretaries work closely with the operations and have an important function in providing good and patient-safe care. We are a friendly team with varied and enjoyable tasks where you will become an important part of the operations. We value well-being as highly as quality and always strive to provide the best possible service. With us, you will have a stimulating and enjoyable job focused on quality and collaboration. Our operations consist of gynecological outpatient care, specialist maternal care, and maternity/birth with approximately 500 births per year. Within the County Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, doctors, midwives, nurses, and nursing assistants work together.

The position is a full-time temporary position starting as soon as possible until 2026-08-31, with a possibility of extension.

With us, you will have a varied and stimulating workday with different tasks. You will become an important person in the daily work at the clinic. The main job responsibilities are:

• writing medical records
• handling incoming and outgoing mail
• registration in various quality registers
• coding
• other administrative tasks related to patient flow

Patient safety permeates all work, which is why accuracy and good quality in performed work are highly valued.

We are looking for someone who

• is a trained medical secretary or healthcare administrator
• has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
