Education and learning are important foundations for a democratic society. The Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's educational activities and is facing changes related to demographic development, changed legislation, and increased demands for quality and sustainability.

Provided that the necessary decisions are made, the administration is now seeking a business strategist.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a business strategist, you report directly to the head of administration and are part of the Education Administration's management team. The assignment involves supporting the management and political committee through qualified analysis and development work.

The tasks include, among other things:

• developing strategic decision-making materials for management and committees
• analyzing the external environment, legislation, and trends in the education sector
• working with demographic analyses and long-term capacity and local planning
• leading and coordinating strategic development and change projects
• supporting managers in process and change work
• initiating and following up on efforts related to work environment, health-promoting work, and organizational sustainability
• collaborating with the municipality's HR and finance departments on personnel and finance-related issues

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who works in a structured manner, takes responsibility for their tasks, and drives the work forward. You have the ability to see the whole picture and connections, as well as to translate analyses into practical and feasible proposals.

You work independently but also have good collaboration skills and can communicate in a clear and trust-building manner.

Requirements:

• Academic degree of at least three years in a field that the employer deems relevant for the position
• Experience in strategic development work
• Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Good analytical skills and experience working with complex materials
• Good IT skills
• Driving license B

Meritorious:

• Experience working in public operations
• Experience from educational activities or the school system
• Experience in quality management
• Experience in digital development and innovation, including work with AI
