ABOUT THE POSITION

Vesta Si is part of the SKF Group and manufactures, develops, and delivers advanced ceramic powders and materials that play an important role in industrial products with high demands for precision and performance, especially in bearing and ceramic applications. In Ljungaverk, about 20 employees work, and they now want to expand the team with an accountant. Previously, they have received assistance from SKF with accounting but see many advantages in having a person on-site who works comprehensively with finance and has an overall understanding of the business.

In the role of accountant, you will work with ongoing accounting as well as monthly and annual financial statements. You will work closely with the business, contributing to both operational and more strategic financial issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

• Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Responsible for monthly and annual financial statements
• Act as a contact person for auditors
• Responsible for VAT reporting and VAT declarations
• Reporting according to group guidelines
• Support managers in financial matters

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a post-secondary education in finance or equivalent work experience
• Has several years of experience in ongoing accounting
• Has experience with monthly and annual financial statements
• Is familiar with the Office 365 suite
• Has good experience with various business systems
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English as it is required in daily work

It is an advantage if you have:

• Worked with ongoing accounting for a manufacturing industry
• Experience in group reporting
