Here at the unit for support and financing, we work with regional development by managing government support for regional development to various organizations!

We are now looking for an administrator to join our team! Currently, we have 11 people in the unit handling various government supports - project support, business support, and support for commercial activities.

As an administrator for project support, you contribute to implementing the regional development strategy by informing, supporting, and helping various organizations apply for funding for growth-promoting projects. You will have early dialogues with potential applicants to guide them towards good and sustainable projects. This often happens together with knowledgeable colleagues in the region. You will also engage in dialogue with various authorities responsible for handling other supports, usually concerning different EU funds.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate start.

As an administrator for project support, you will:

• Assess whether support for a specific project can be granted based on applicable regulations, guidelines, and strategies
• Draft decision proposals and present cases before the decision-making body
• Assist project owners during the project period and follow the project until it is completed and closed

In addition to the administrative work, you will participate in informing about the supports in various contexts and contribute to the development work with project supports. This may involve improving routines, producing materials for the website or other channels, etc. To succeed, you ensure good collaboration with colleagues. You will also actively promote good cooperation with external actors seeking project support. There may also be other tasks within the growth operations where you can contribute, depending on your skills and experience.

We are looking for someone who

• Has an academic degree in a relevant field for the position or has documented knowledge complemented by extensive relevant work experience in the area
• Has experience working in one or more of the following areas: project management, business development, analysis, urban planning, financial management, accounting
• Has experience working with various digital tools
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is advantageous if you

• Have experience working in public administration
• Have experience in administration, case management, and similar tasks in an authority
• Have in-depth knowledge of EU funds
