Your new workplace

Destination Sundsvall is looking for three summer hosts for our tourist service during the summer season of 2026.

Destination Sundsvall is part of Sundsvall Municipality, the Department of Business and Growth, and works on behalf of the entire destination – Sundsvall, Timrå, and Ånge. Together, we develop an attractive place for both visitors and residents. As a Summer Host, you will become an important ambassador for the destination. You will meet visitors, inspire experiences, and contribute to creating memorable experiences of our destination.

Your contribution as a summer host

As a summer host, you will work alongside supervisors and other summer hosts to meet and inspire visitors around the destination.

Your tasks include:

• Informing and inspiring visitors about experiences, activities, and attractions in the destination.
• Working with our mobile tourist service at events and visitor sites.
• Contributing to creating a welcoming and professional hospitality.
• Being an ambassador for Destination Sundsvall.
• Participating in creating content for Destination Sundsvall's social media by documenting and highlighting experiences and events.
• Collaborating with supervisors and other summer hosts in daily work.

The work primarily takes place outdoors from mid-June to mid-August. Travel within the destination may occur. Weekend and evening work may be included.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone who:

• Is outgoing and enjoys meeting people.
• Is service-oriented, responsible, and flexible.
• Enjoys working both independently and in a team.
• Has an interest in tourism and destination development.
• Has an interest in social media and digital communication.
• Can express themselves well in spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Knowledge of German or other languages is a merit.
• Having a B driver's license is a merit.
