Summer Job at Miva – Make a Difference This Summer!

Do you want a summer job where you can use your service skills, develop in your role, and contribute to the functioning of society's most important functions? We are now looking for two dedicated summer substitutes for our customer service for the summer of 2026, who want to help us when our regular employees take a well-deserved break. With us, you will be part of a team that works for sustainable community development and a smooth everyday life for our customers.

About the Role

As a customer service representative at Miva, you are an important contact for our customers. Your tasks include:

  • Helping customers via phone, email, and digital channels
  • Handling inquiries, orders, and various customer matters
  • Ensuring that each customer receives a professional, friendly, and solution-oriented response

You will receive a safe and structured introduction and work closely with experienced and supportive colleagues in an engaged team.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is positive, service-oriented, and solution-focused
  • Has a high school education
  • Has good communication skills and enjoys both teamwork and independent work
  • Can communicate clearly and professionally in spoken and written Swedish, as the tasks require this. Basic knowledge of English is needed to handle certain customer matters
  • Has good computer skills and can work in several IT systems simultaneously

We place great importance on your personal qualities. Your curiosity, sense of responsibility, and willingness to go the extra mile are crucial for success in the role. Previous experience in customer service, such as from a call center or administrative roles with customer contact, is an advantage.

About the Employment

  • Employment period: From May 18 to August 28 (can be adjusted depending on the candidate)
  • Working hours: 100%, fixed-term employment
  • Start date: By agreement
  • Security screening and alcohol and drug testing may be conducted before employment.

Miljö och Vatten i Örnsköldsvik AB (Miva) is a wholly-owned municipal company responsible for water and sewage as well as waste and recycling in Örnsköldsvik municipality. We produce, distribute, and sell drinking water and take care of and purify wastewater. We are also responsible for collecting, treating, and transporting the municipality's household waste. Miva has over 115 employees and has a turnover of approximately 200 million kronor.
