Healthcare Developer in Paramedicine
Paramedicine encompasses six care units with a county-wide mission and has approximately 200 employees. Here, social workers, dietitians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists work together. Paramedicine offers treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention to maintain, restore, and provide the conditions for good health with an uninterrupted care chain for our residents. Paramedicine operates on behalf of other parts of the healthcare system, which requires good collaboration and a holistic perspective regarding the patient's needs. The position has a flexible location, and you can be based in either Gävle or Hudiksvall.
We are looking for someone who wants to help develop our operations and actively drive improvement work forward. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a healthcare developer in paramedicine, you play a crucial role in leading and coordinating the development work of the organization in line with our goals and prioritized areas. You work both strategically and closely with operations by supporting the units in planning, structuring, and following up on their improvement efforts. You are part of the staff and collaborate closely with the operations manager, executive secretary, and quality coordinator to create the best possible conditions for sustainable and qualitative care.
Main Responsibilities
- lead and coordinate improvement and development work within the organization
- contribute to the development and follow-up of the operational plan
- educate and support managers and employees in change management
- drive the work with risk analyses and reporting
- design surveys at both organizational and unit levels.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who creates good collaborations and, with curiosity and engagement, takes on the assignment together with the organization's employees. Building relationships in a responsive and professional manner comes naturally to you, as does being present in the operations. As a person, you are structured and have the ability to plan and prioritize your work to achieve set goals and deadlines. You are flexible and adapt when conditions change or new needs arise in the operations. Furthermore, we also see that you are proactive and drive the work forward by identifying development opportunities and turning them into practical improvements for the organization.
To succeed in the role, the following is required:
- a university degree in healthcare or equivalent work experience as assessed by the employer.
If you have a university degree in a paramedical profession, it is an advantage for the position. It is also beneficial if you have previous experience working as a healthcare developer and/or quality coordinator.
