Quality Coordinator for Primary Care Operations

The Primary Care Operations is a newly established entity within Region Gävleborg with approximately 100 employees. We have a county-wide mission to support and serve all primary care in Gävleborg. Our operations include day rehabilitation and pool, psychotherapy and internet-based CBT (ICBT), mobile healthcare teams, osteoporosis processes, primary care centers, and family doctor emergency services. Previously, these units/functions were located at different health centers but are now gathered in a common operational area to strengthen collaboration and develop care.

We are now looking for a quality coordinator – come and make a difference together with us!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a quality coordinator, you will play a central role in coordinating quality work and contributing to development within the operational area. The assignment aims to ensure a systematic and ongoing improvement of care, work processes, and patient safety. Through close collaboration with managers and employees, you contribute to the organization achieving its goals and developing in a safe and sustainable way. The assignment combines strategic and operational work, focusing on translating guidelines and goals into practical improvements that make a difference for patients.

Main Responsibilities

  • drive quality and patient safety work by following up on quality goals, deviations, risk analyses, and improvement measures
  • educate and support managers and employees in patient safety and quality issues
  • drive improvement and development work within the organization
  • be responsible for document structure and ensuring that governing documents are updated and current
  • compile and follow up statistics and analysis materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who enjoys driving development and dares to think outside the box. You readily bring new ideas and perspectives to work-related issues. You are service-oriented with a professional and warm approach and have a strong desire to support and help others. Furthermore, we see that you take initiative, make things happen, and thrive in environments where you can shape the way forward. Through your ability to collaborate and your willingness to network and be inspired by others, you build relationships that uplift both the team and the organization.

For this role, you should have:

  • a university degree with a license in healthcare, such as a nurse or occupational therapist
  • experience working with care development, quality development, operational development, and/or patient safety work.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with the systems; Platina, Stratsys, the Cosmic journal system, and/or Cyklop. It is also beneficial if you have experience driving change initiatives, but this is not a requirement.
